Sydney Opera House, Australia

It’s located on Bennelong Point, a peninsula jutting into Sydney Harbors. Its prominent position near the Sydney Harbors Bridge makes it one of the most recognizable landmarks in the world.

Construction began in 1959 and was officially completed in 1973. However, due to design challenges and budget issues, the project took much longer than initially anticipated.
